Boutique Studio is a București-based engineering team that turns documented trading strategies into automated, production-grade bots.
Who we are and what we actually do
Boutique Studio was founded in 2019 by a small group of software engineers and quantitative analysts who had spent years building internal tools for trading desks — and saw that independent traders had no access to the same quality of automation infrastructure. We are not a signal service, a copy-trading platform, or an investment manager. We are a software engineering studio that specializes in one thing: translating a trader's documented rules into code that executes those rules on live markets without human intervention. We work with retail traders, proprietary trading groups, and small EU-regulated funds. Our clients typically arrive with a strategy they have been trading manually for at least six months and want to scale it, remove execution errors, or run it across multiple accounts simultaneously. The tools we deliver are yours: fully documented source code, deployment guides, and logic specifications — nothing locked in a system only we can access.
How we work and what we will not promise
Our team of seven engineers and analysts operates from a shared workspace in București's Floreasca district. We have delivered more than 140 automation projects since 2019, working on instruments ranging from EURUSD spot to Romanian BVB equities and EU commodity futures. Every project starts with a logic specification phase — we write down exactly what we think you asked for and get your sign-off before coding begins. This single step eliminates most of the misunderstandings that make custom software projects expensive and slow. We work in two-week sprints and share progress openly. What we do not do: we do not promise that a bot will be profitable. A bot executes a strategy — if the strategy does not have an edge, the bot will execute that faithfully too, at high speed. We are transparent about this because it is the only honest position to hold. We also do not support brokers operating outside EU regulatory frameworks, and we do not take on projects where the strategy description cannot be written down in unambiguous rules. Market results always depend on conditions we cannot control.
